Hourly chauffeur service, as directed
Keep the vehicle and the chauffeur for the whole block of time and change the plan as often as you like. Nothing is re-quoted mid-day.
Check availabilityWhen hourly is the cheaper choice
Point-to-point pricing wins when you know both ends of the trip. Hourly wins the moment the day has more than about three stops, or when any stop has an unknown length: a closing that might run long, a doctor's appointment, a property tour, a client dinner that turns into drinks. Instead of paying four separate pickups and waiting for a car each time, you pay for the block and the vehicle never leaves.
What as-directed means in practice
You are not locked to the itinerary you gave us. Add a stop, skip one, change the order, sit in the car and take a call for twenty minutes — the chauffeur follows your lead. Your bags, garment bags and purchases stay in the vehicle between stops. If the day runs past the booked block we continue in fifteen-minute increments at the same rate, subject to the chauffeur's hours of service.
Common hourly bookings
Board meetings and site visits across the Loop and the suburbs. A parent and a chauffeur touring five colleges in two days. Michigan Avenue shopping with a car holding the bags. Wedding-day transport for the couple. Doctor and outpatient procedure runs where someone needs to be waiting the moment you are discharged. Restaurant and theater nights where finding parking downtown is the actual problem.

Questions about hourly as directed
Is there a minimum number of hours?
Two hours for sedans and three for SUVs. Garage-to-garage travel time is included in the booked block, which is standard in chauffeured transportation — we will tell you exactly how it applies to your pickup address when you book.
What if we finish early?
You are billed for the minimum you reserved. If you release the vehicle before the block ends, the remaining time is not refunded, so it is usually worth booking close to the hours you actually expect and adding time later rather than over-reserving.
Can the chauffeur wait with our luggage or shopping bags?
Yes. On as-directed hires the vehicle stays with you for the whole block and your belongings stay in it. The chauffeur remains with the vehicle or within sight of it at all times.
